Some of us experience so much frustration at work after taking advice from a manager that recommends we move into a particular area or job. Or somewhere down the line, we took advice from someone that had great intentions but didn’t know our potential.
This creates unhappiness that can poison other areas of our lives if we do not address the problem. The real issue is that we are not working in our strength zone, as John Maxwell would describe.
You cannot expect an eagle to climb a tree when it is meant to soar above the tree.
If you are a frustrated eagle being utilized to walk among geese, then it’s time to fly. Work in your strength.
