What is the bigger picture?
Arguments are often spent trying to validate our egos but what are you trying to obtain? Where are you going? Is this argument worth the battle?
Will it bring you closer to your goal or separate you and the people involved further?
One of my directors keeps a phrase written on construction paper in a large frame on his desk.
It simply reads, “The big picture.” This is a reminder to not sweat the small stuff.
