If you are like me and have a difficult time shutting off your brain at night there is a guided sleep meditation on youtube that will help you fight insomnia.
It begins with laying down and stopping whatever you are doing. Then you begin deep breathing exercises, followed by tensing all of your muscles, and finally releasing the tension in another deep breath.
Once that is completed you begin to hear splashing waves to calm you down. The video is about a half hour but usually after about 15 minutes I feel my stress leave and can sleep like a baby. It was put together by TheHonestGuys, I love their videos. Check it out below…
